Cybook Opus ReviewThe Cybook e-readers are developed by Bookeen, a pioneer in the ebook device market, operating since 1998. The Cybook Opus e-reading devices is lighter and smaller than the previous models (Gen1 and Gen3). They have a 5" screen instead of 6" and weigh about 20 grams less. This can be useful if you are concerned about packing size and travel weight. The Opus comes in seven different colors so you can choose one to suit your style. The battery lasts for about 8,000 page turns, or around two weeks on a single charge. The 1 GB of internal space can store about 1,000 books. For more details go to the Cybook Opus retail website or the Wikipedia page. Also see Cybook Gen3. eBook FormatsThe Cybook Opus can read just about any popular eBooks because it supports Adobe's DRM system for both PDF and EPUB eBooks. It can also read regular .pdf and .epub files. |
