The
Barnes & Noble Nook device was released in late 2009. It's an electronic book
reader (or, eBook reader / eReader) that is based on the Android platform. It
has a large 6 inch E-Ink display that makes reading eBooks easy on the eyes.
Users can read eBooks, magazines, and newspapers on the Nook device, making it a great alternative to paper. It comes with 2 GB of memory and more can be added with an additional memory card.
The Nook is an excellent device for those who like to read on the go, such as when travelling or commuting. It's a space-saver because you don't have to carry books with you, and it helps the environment at the same time.
The Nook can be purchased directly at the Barnes & Noble website, selling for $259 in January 2010. It competes with other e-reader devices like the Sony Reader.

The Nook Reader can use Adobe eBooks. We recommend checking out eBookMall.com's Adobe eBooks area. They also have a specific Nook eBook homepage with information and instructions about how to use Adobe eBooks on the Nook device.
