What are EBOOKs?
EBOOKS (e-books, eBooks) are books that are in digital format. They are essentially software. You can think of them like digital music. You can get your music on a CD or you can buy the digital files in iTunes.
If this were a question on the SATs it would look like this: MP3s are to CDs as eBooks are to Books.
eBooks are simply the digital version of paper books. You can read them on your computer, on your smartphone, or on a dedicated e-book reading device if you have one. The Kindle from Amazon is probably the most well-known ebook reading device. Others include the Nook from Barnes & Noble, the Kobo eReader, and the Sony Reader. There are also many others.
